Eviction suit on Tuesday

Raleigh may not evict the tenants, but VG Murray and David House are looking to. All the remaining tenants were served today for an eviction lawsuit which will be taking place on Tuesday, June 2nd at 1:30 pm in the Wake County Courthouse.

Wilmont Moving (Eviction?) Sale

THIS SATURDAY! May 16 from 8am to noon.

– MOVING / EVICTION SALE ______________
By all accounts, unless the building is brought up to code by May 30th, we’re going to be evicted. We have way too much stuff to move on such short notice. Plus we also need money for deposits on new apartments, so come buy our stuff!

City Council Meeting: Update.

So it turns out David House can legally kick us out with only 7 days notice. wtf.
Update:
The City Council just discussed the Wilmont, watch video of that meeting here. Our district councilman, Thomas Crowder, brought up that we were told to leave in 10 days by our landlord and asked if there was anything that could be done to buy us some more time. He also asked if there was any funding or temporary housing that could be used to help us. No real answers were given yet, these are just things the City will look into.

May 4th Repairs in Progress

As of right now there are several workers systematically replacing the rotten and damaged wooden beams in my bathroom ceiling with new ones. They said that the issues with the compromised wood in the bathrooms should be fixed in all of the necessary apartments by this Wednesday.
